Playing with my spellbinders carnation dies

I have been playing with my carnation dies and am thrilled with them. For these flowers I have used pink tissue paper and a tiny smudge of distress ink.
Now to think of a project to use them on.

Get Well Soon Mum

I have not been around for a while, because things have been busy in our family. My Mum has had a fall and fractured her pelvis. She is doing well, but is still in a lot of pain and it may be a few weeks before she can come home. When she does come home, it could take six to twelve weeks before she is able once again to go upstairs. It's a worry though, because at 89 a fall like this can be quite a shock.
My Mum's sister my Auntie has bee in hospital for the last three weeks and also my Auntie who lives in Wales is in hospital after a stroke.
I used this elusive images stamp to make this get well card for Mum.I stamped it four times and then coloured it with promarkers. I cut out layers to decoupage and then glazed the flowers. I used distress ink around the first layer.
Thankyou for looking in today.

An Easter Thankyou

I made this card as an Easter Thankyou. The digi stamp is from Mo's digital pencil, I have coloured with promarkers and edged with distress ink. The sentiment rubber stamp is from elusive Images, stamped in pink and mounted on a circle nestability die. I used the swirl cuttlebug embossing folder, some pink spotty ribbon and bp from cute companions outdoors.
Thankyou for looking.

Birthday gift thankyou card

Well, I have had such a busy birthday week, meeting family and friends, I have not had much time for crafting. Having recieved some lovely gifts, I have made my first of the many thankyou cards I need to make..
I used the popcorn the bear rubber stamp by crafters companion and coloured with promarkers. It's a really large stamp as can be seen from this six inch square card. I used distress ink for the first time around the edge of the stamped image. The bp is joanna sheen warm marble. The flower started off blue, but I coloured with pro marker to complement the other colours on the card and added some distressed stickles.
Thankyou for looking.
