CD Sunday first challenge

I am entering this card in the CD Sunday first Challenge, which is wings and things. I am sorry the photo is a bit blurry. I made this card for my Mum to send to my Niece, her Grand daughter. I have used the same stamp as for the Sunshine Challenge, but this time the stamp was stamped and embossed with veramark and gold powder and glittered all over with pee wee glitters butterfly. I embossed some gold mirri card for the background with the Cuttlebug swirls embossing folder. The bp and the sentiment frame are from Artylicious Damask Delights CD Rom. Good luck Wendy and the members of the DT with the new Challenge Blog.

Fishing Penguin

This card is for this weeks Bah Humbug Challenge, the theme being Embossing. The Penguin and sentiment rubber stamps are both from Art Impressions. I coloured the hat, scarf, feet and beak with inktense pencils and the snow and ice with watercolour pencils, covered with stickles for the Christmassy sparkle, before sticking a tiny pompom on his hat. I used the circle nestability die and the cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder. The sentiment is stamped in green versacolour ink and embossed with clear powder. I used a Nellie Snellen oval die to cut this out and threaded lilac ribbon through the holes. I punched some little green fish and added some lilac buttons threaded with the same lilac ribbon.
The bp is from Artylicious seasons greetings, I do like this paper.

My very first post.

Hi and welcome to my blog and my very first post. It's quite exciting to be a blogger. The first card I am going to show, is the card that I made for my husband Charlie for Valentines day last Sunday. The heart and flourish stamp I got free with a magazine last spring and I had never used it. As it was for a man's card I thought the black and white, would be nice for his Valentine instead of the usual red. I used white embossing powder on black card and vice versa. The embossed white swirls are a cuttlebug folder. I have now entered this card in Crafty Ann's challenge . If music were the food of love.
