Bah Humbug Santa Paws

Gosh I am on a roll. This card is for this weeks Bah Humbug Challenge Santa Paws. The decoupage is from Cute Companions Christmas Collection CD rOM, I matted it on red, cream and green card and finished off with lovely pee wee glitter for the snow. The mice are from Cute Companions, coloured with Derwent Watercolour pencils. The card is finished off with a simple red bow. Thankyou for looking.

CD Sunday first challenge

I am entering this card in the CD Sunday first Challenge, which is wings and things. I am sorry the photo is a bit blurry. I made this card for my Mum to send to my Niece, her Grand daughter. I have used the same stamp as for the Sunshine Challenge, but this time the stamp was stamped and embossed with veramark and gold powder and glittered all over with pee wee glitters butterfly. I embossed some gold mirri card for the background with the Cuttlebug swirls embossing folder. The bp and the sentiment frame are from Artylicious Damask Delights CD Rom. Good luck Wendy and the members of the DT with the new Challenge Blog.

Let the sunshine in.

I have made this card for Crafty Ann's Challenge let the sunshine in. The vibrant colours that I have used remind me of sunshine and also butterflies come out when the sun comes out. That's my interpretation anyway, lol. The stamp is from creative expressions, called monarch butterfly. I stamped with versamark on to black card twice and embossed with gold powder. I painted one of the butterlies with twinkling H2O's and then the second I just cut out the top pair of wings and painted part of it with the H2O's and glittered part of it. The sparkle of the glitter doesn't show up on the photo though.

A flower for my niece

I made this card for my niece for her Birthday. I used the new stamp sheet that I bought at the NEC from Graphicus. The flower was stamped in black versafine black and painted with inktense pencils. The leaves were stamped in versamark on to green mirri card and then embossed with gold powder. I used green glitter to add a bit of sparkle. The bp is from my Graphicus Guild stash. The mini buttons were from my stash and the sentiment came from the same stamp sheet as the flowers and leaves.

Red, black and gold

It's a lovely sunny day today and I have been making the most of my garden and enjoyed a lovely walk with Olivia my lovely dog.
The theme for this weeks challenge over on Rainbow Lady's Challenge Blog is red, back and gold with a touch of Oriental. I chose to use this gorgeous image from Mo's Digital Pencil, coloured with promarkers. The Oriental writing rubber stamp is from Crafters Companion, stamped with stazon and embossed with clear powder. The card was completed with some embellishments from my stash.

Fishing Penguin

This card is for this weeks Bah Humbug Challenge, the theme being Embossing. The Penguin and sentiment rubber stamps are both from Art Impressions. I coloured the hat, scarf, feet and beak with inktense pencils and the snow and ice with watercolour pencils, covered with stickles for the Christmassy sparkle, before sticking a tiny pompom on his hat. I used the circle nestability die and the cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder. The sentiment is stamped in green versacolour ink and embossed with clear powder. I used a Nellie Snellen oval die to cut this out and threaded lilac ribbon through the holes. I punched some little green fish and added some lilac buttons threaded with the same lilac ribbon.
The bp is from Artylicious seasons greetings, I do like this paper.
